Palm Cove Resorts
Palm Cove offers holiday makers varying styles of holiday resorts to select from dependant on your personal requirements.
In and around Palm Cove there are two golf resorts, five spa resorts, four beachfront resorts and they all range from three stars to five star luxury style holiday resorts.
In the past the terminology of resort meant that the resort consisted of a lot of leisure facilities for keeping all age groups amused whilst on holidays. Resorts used to have tennis courts, squash courts, gymnasium, games rooms, kids clubs, several swimming pools, bicycle hire, playground for children, water sports, golf course, day spa, several restaurants and bars and lot's of other facilities to keep guests amused within the resorts own grounds.
This is no longer the case and a lot of resorts call themselves resorts due to their geographic location being a resort holiday destination and they do not provide all of the resort leisure and recreation facilities as listed above. Today they usually only have a swimming pool, and restaurant and maybe a day spa and the holiday accommodation consists of hotel rooms, suites and self contained apartments.
Holiday resorts in Palm Cove are not mega resorts by any means they range from 65 rooms to around 250 rooms within the resorts gardens. This makes them a little more personal and relaxing especially outside the school holiday periods.
A big feature of the holiday resorts in Palm Cove is their swimming pools. Due to the tropical climate all year round guests spend lots of leisure time swimming and tanning nearly every single day of their holiday beside the pool.
At a number of these Palm Cove resorts you can have pool service for food and beverage or they have an in pool swim up bar for when you do not want to get out. Some also have beach like sand filled pools with palm trees and some have waterfalls and hot spa tubs. Some Palm Cove resorts also have lap training pools and one resort even has a choice of seven swimming pools and one of those has a crocodile slide for the children.
So as you can see there is a Palm Cove resort that will suit every traveler's dream of a relaxing holiday in paradise.
