The hotel accommodation at the MGallery Reef House Hotel and Spa includes a variety of large spacious rooms and suites, all offering king size beds that are romantically draped in light muslin netting. The hotels white washed walls are swathed in bougainvillea, and all rooms feature a private verandah or patio, some having spas with views of the beach allowing the guests to capture the indoor-outdoor lifestyle of the Cairns Tropics.

The traditional Brigadier Rooms have romantic porch swings for couples to enjoy while sitting back and just taking it all in. Just perfect for that after wedding honeymoon.
Verandah Rooms are spacious and have large private verandahs perfect for couples with ocean or pool views, some with intimate spa baths.

There are Family Suites that sleep four to five people with a separate bedroom that has two single beds. The resorts beachfront suites have sweeping beach views with Palm trees swaying intermittently, a separate king sized bedroom and a separate living area with a roll away bed. Finally the premier Reef Suite has two separate ensuite bathrooms with king bed splits, the views are magnificent and the spacious design allows for privacy and comfort.

The Reef House MGallery Resort & Spa was opened in 1970 and initially existed as a beachfront restaurant and small guest house. In 1972 the property was purchased by Brigadier the Hon. David Thompson MC, RL who added more guest suites to accommodate personal guests. Although the Palm Cove hotel undergoes constant refurbishments to retain its prestigious five star status it still has managed to keep its authentic colonial character. The Brigadier’s Bar which has complimentary punch nightly and to this day operates on an honor bar system as it did forty years ago where guests help themselves to drinks and put their name on the room tab list so the drinks will go on their personal room charges. Unique artifacts collected from around the world are displayed around the resort and travelers are encouraged to join together and share their stories around the bar each evening.

The Palm Cove Reef House MGallery Resort & Spa hotel also boasts the multi-award winning Reef House Restaurant overlooking the Palm Cove beachfront esplanade. The setting is on a large covered wooden deck beneath magnificent towering ancient Melaleuca trees, enjoying unsurpassed ocean views and gentle sea breezes - exquisite beachside dining.
